hi im jamie im a mentally ill and physically disabled nonbinary lesbian and my abusive parents are disowning me because i am transgender
I feel weird posting but my parents are done with me. I have to apply for disability and food stamps, but my therapist and parents doubt I’ll be able to get it. If they boot me from their health insurance (I suspect that they will in the near future, it’s been threatened many times) I wont be able to get my meds (without which I would die) so I’ll also apply for Medicaid.
For now my housing situation will be stable for at least a month, but this stuff still matters. Not counting food and gas and like being a human being, my rent is $450, internet is $17, gas and electric are roughly $50 a month. If I’m making zero dollrs thats gonna like. not go GREAT for me. Those prices are what I pay because the full price of the bills and rent are divided three ways between roommates. I really need money and my options are limited because I cannot work and have not been able for a long time so here are some options that I’ve thought up :
- I cross stitch, I would be happy to make patterns or stitch small projects for people (I can send u pics of some of my projects.) It’s just some etsy-type shit but I’m down to make weird stuff too
- Selling n*des or custom stuff if anyone wants
- I bake bread every day and a few people asked irl to buy some so if anyone wanted to buy bread/any baked good I can take requests (let me know what kind of bread and about any allergens or dietary preferences) and ship it anywhere (kinda doubt strangers would take me up on this but bread is my life’s passion.) It would be cheap / pay-what-you-can basically unless it’s international shipping, I’d have to charge a bit more. I can send pics of my bread if you’d like.
A lot of people and many of yall are in scarier and often more urgent situations (absolutely nothing wrong with that! just dont want to detract from more urgent situations) so I don’t want to ask for donations straight-up. I like to make things for people especially baked goods and I’m down to sell n*des.
